US appeals court upholds $194 million damages against TCS in DXC case

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has said that the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit has issued an adverse judgment in a longstanding legal dispute with DXC Technology Company, upholding a previous order that imposed damages on the Indian IT major.
In aregulatory filing dated 22 November, the company said that the Appeals Court confirmed the US District Court’s decision on damages but set aside the injunction ordered by it earlier and sent it back to the lower court in Texas for reconsideration.
