India to host annual India-Russia summit in Delhi soon: MEA

India will host the annual India-Russia summit in Delhi, and the dates will be finalized soon, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said on Thursday.
The summit, expected to be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin, aims to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries.
"India-Russia summit is important. Last annual summit was held in Moscow. It is time for us to host the summit in Delhi, and the dates will be worked out between both sides, keeping in mind what is mutually convenient to both sides," Jaiswal said at his weekly press briefing.
