With 10 IPL titles and countless iconic moments between them, two of the most iconic franchises in the tournament's history, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians, are set to renew their fierce rivalry in what many dub the 'El Clasico' of the Indian Premier League. On Sunday evening, the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai will come alive as five-time champions CSK take on their equally decorated adversaries MI in a blockbuster opener for both sides.
In what promises to be a clash of legacy, emotion and strategy, CSK will look to capitalise on their well-documented spin dominance at Chepauk, while MI will have to navigate early challenges with key players unavailable.
