The Met Gala returned this week under the theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style”, and A-list celebrities showed up and showed off their “Tailored for You” garments.
While there were mega hits, there were also many misses.
Rihanna made headlines not just for her stunning ensemble but also for debuting her baby bump on the Met Gala blue carpet. This will be the singer's third child. Riri was styled by the iconic Mark Jacobs, who also worked his magic on Doja Cat, Tracy Ellis Ross, J Balvin and Valentina Ferrer.
Meanwhile, South African superstar Tyla turned heads in a breathtaking white pinstripe Jacquemus gown with a gorgeous curly blonde pixie cut.
Ciara returns with self-titled album CiCi
Award-winning musician Ciara is back with new music. The R&B sensation took to social media to announce the release of her eighth studio album, CiCi.
The album, set to drop on July 11, is a love letter to her fans, whom she affectionately refers to as her “day ones”.
With this new chapter in her music career, Cici’s fans are eagerly anticipating the “CiCi era”.
Tyla drops new music
Tyla has unveiled the release date for her highly anticipated single, Bliss, set to drop today.
In the run-up, Tyla collaborated with Erewhon on a smoothie named after the single.
