THE inception of the Provincial Government of Unity (PGU), formed by minority parties in KwaZulu-Natal, has been characterised by shaky relations between coalition partners.
-
There have been signs of disunity among members, with each party pulling in different directions and trying to outshine one another. This mentality and strategy seemed to be the downfall of the PGU.
However, we are now witnessing a different approach from the province, with the political parties speaking more in one voice and having a common purpose: delivering services to the people.
