Amazon's stock appeal hit by intensifying cloud competition
The Star
|October 06, 2025
AMAZON.COM'S cloud-computing business has helped propel its shares for almost two decades, but increasing pressure from rivals like Microsoft and Oracle is sapping some of the stock's appeal.

It's followed by Microsoft's Azure and Alphabet’s Google Cloud Platform, with Oracle's huge growth suggesting there's a fourth major player on the field. CoreWeave Inc. is also garnering investor attention.
