A FIRM'S expansion into house refurbishment has led to work for at least seven North Staffordshire businesses on just one job.

- Sentinel Reporter

Now Sixtowns Waste has started a second refurbishment project and has won a contract providing maintenance work for Stoke-on-Trent City Council.

It's great news for the company which has grown quickly since its foundation just two years ago.

The firm works in commercial and domestic waste removal and disposal but the clearance of a home for a landlord resulted in a new job stream for the company. Managing director Ben Trickett said: "We were approached by a private landlord to prepare a home in Meir Heath that had been left in a terrible mess.

"It had been left in a dreadful state with piles of rubbish in the gardens and lots of internal damage.
