Paul stands tall to smash huge hundred in Rode Park & Lawton win
The Sentinel
|July 17, 2025
PAUL Chadwick compiled a big hundred to set Rode Park & Lawton thirds to the points against Church Eaton seconds in NSSCL Division Eight.
-
Chadwick hit 22 fours in his 153 not out to form the cornerstone of Rode Park & Lawton's mammoth 324-5 from their 40 overs.
Evan Coxon was also in fine form, making 69, which contained 13 boundaries. There were also handy efforts from Matthew Mountford (21) and Adam Fenn (19), while Arran Peasley scooped 3-39.
Church Eaton were never likely to overhaul that huge total, but they did see George Tilley hit seven fours in a fine 51.
Jack Leah (18) and Peasley (17) also made starts as Church Eaton drew stumps on 129-9. Dan O'Gorman picked up 4-13.
Owen Turner was also on the ton trail as he helped Oakamoor fourths to victory over Cheadle 4th XI.
