Olsen's call leaves Viktor as Sweden’s first choice

VIKTOR Johansson is now categorically Sweden number one after gloves rival Robin Olsen retired from international football.

Johansson and Olsen have been battling to be first choice for Sweden under Jon Dahl Tomasson and the manager put his faith in the latter due to his experience ahead of last month’s World Cup qualifiers against Slovenia and Kosovo.
Olsen had a stinker, however, and made a big mistake leading to a goal as they drew with Slovenia. He kept his place for a 2-0 defeat to Kosovo but took a phone call this week explaining Johansson would be picked for upcoming matches against Switzerland and Kosovo.
