Striker Smit says he'll be on target regularly when he adapts to life in the Championship
MILAN Smit is confident he will score goals in England as he builds relationships with his new teammates at Stoke City.
The 22-year-old striker has had a tough first couple of matches leading the line since joining Stoke from Dutch side Go Ahead Eagles - and he knows he has a load of work ahead to try to become a more complete player and show his potential.
But he has no doubts that he can be a hit in the Championship, and hopefully higher up the league ladder.
“It’s totally different here in England, the intensity and level is much higher than Holland,” he said.
“I will develop myself here as a more complete player, a more complete striker. I’m working on that and I think it will go in a good way.
