Man jailed for 13 years over rape of 'vulnerable' woman

The 35-year-old has left his victim 'broken in every way'
Rapist James Goulding.
RAPIST James Goulding has been jailed for 13 years.
The 35-year-old denied the charge but was convicted by a jury after a trial at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court in August.
Recorder Robert Smith has now made Goulding the subject of an indefinite restraining order, which prevents him contacting his victim, and a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for 20 years. He was also placed him on the sex offenders' register for life.
Prosecutor Andrew Ford KC said the rape happened on March 26 this year while the vulnerable victim was staying in a South Cheshire B&B.
He raped her against her will. He became angry and she left the room and called the police.
