AN award-winning holistic hub has opened its expanded studio - including a 'first of its kind' pilates class.

Jessica Alice, 28, has transformed Divinity Studio in Newcastle into a bigger premises due to demand.

The Scott Street studio offers pilates - including both mat and reformer classes - yoga, breathwork and sound healing seven days a week.

The 'reformer' pilates classes are reportedly a first for Newcastle.

The classes are designed for people of all ages and fitness.

Jessica, who trained in California 10 years ago and started teaching pilates four years ago, said: "Pilates is popular in bigger cities so people are thrilled that there's a place for them to do it close by.
