New Potters winger determined to make immediate impact as he eyes weekend West Brom bow
JESURUN Rak-Sakyi hopes he's ready to hit the ground running at Stoke City as he comes into contention to make his debut this weekend.
The 23-year-old winger signed on loan from Crystal Palace on Monday after a transfer chase that lasted the whole of the winter window.
He played his last game on loan at Rizespor, in Turkey, on December 20 before returning to England for the next chapter in his career and has been trying to stay ticking over until he gets the chance to run out in his new colours.
"Definitely," he said as Stoke prepare to head to West Bromwich Albion (Saturday, 3.01pm). "It's been quite a while since I last played but I've been trying to keep fit and ready for when the chance comes.
