Club issues plea to council after bid to block riders falls foul of right of way law
A GOLF club is demanding council action to stop yobs churning up its greens and driving members away.
Burslem Club says off-road bikers have caused thousands of pounds of damage after getting on to the course through a right of way off Salkeld Place.
An attempt to block them with scaffolding saw the club ordered to take it down or risk prosecution.
And fed-up club members have been quitting as tyre marks on the green diverted their putts.
