Funding for uni to help 'upskill city workforce with training courses'

FULLY funded training opportunities are being made avaialble to workers in Stoke-on-Trent.
The University of Staffordshire is helping to upskill workers in Stoke-on-Trent with a range of fully-funded training opportunities.
Following the successful launch of its Stoke-on-Trent Higher Skills Accelerator last year, the University has secured additional UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) funding through Stoke-on-Trent City Council to delivery another 12 months of short courses, masterclasses and microcredentials.
Courses are open to anyone in the city who is aged 18 and over and in paid or unpaid employment, or on a government supported training programme.
