FC Lambourne and Bulldog to battle it out for cup joy

FC Lambourne booked their place in the Premier Division Cup final with a 2-1 victory over Greenhoffs.
The first half was a cagey affair, with both sides cancelling each other out in midfield and struggling to find a breakthrough.
Chances were few and far between as defences stood firm, leaving the game goalless at the interval.
But it was Lambourne who struck first after the break. Tom Shea turning the defender and poking home from close range to give his side the lead.
Shea then doubled the advantage shortly after, capitalising on a goalkeeper error as a dropped cross fell kindly at his feet, allowing him to slot in his second of the match.
Greenhoffs responded with urgency and pulled one back through Kyle Diskin, who produced a moment of real quality with a fine finish to reignite the contest.
Despite late pressure from Greenhoffs, Lambourne held firm, showing resilience and composure to see out the win.
Joining them in the final will be Bulldog, who edged past Sentinel Cup finalists Wood Lane in a tense encounter that went all the way to penalties.
After a goalless draw in regulation time, neither side was able to find the breakthrough, and it came down to composure from the spot.
Bulldog held their nerve in the shootout to win 4-1.
The final will be played at Newcastle Town on May 16.
In the Premier Division, FC Maybank secured a win over Norton Grange to move up to third place.
Star of the show was Tom Bisson, who bagged an impressive hat-trick to put the game beyond doubt.
