TENNIS Great Britain enjoyed a brilliant start to their Billie Jean King Cup qualifier against Australia, with singles wins for teenage debutant Mika Stojsavljevic and Harriet Dart in Melbourne.

Stojsavljevic, 17, took down the in-from Talia Gibson 7-6(4) 7-5 as she overturned a difference of 219 places in the WTA rankings and Dart followed up by coming from behind to defeat Kimberly Birrell.
