Boss Danny stepping down after 23 years

RENOWNED Danny Flynn is to retire as chief executive of YMCA North Staffordshire after 23 years of leadership.

Danny will continue in his role until March 31 and remains fully committed to leading the organisation and representing its mission during the transition period.

Danny explained his decision to retire has been driven by family circumstances, as he steps back to become his wife’s primary carer.

He paid tribute to the charity's ongoing strategy, robust governance and an experienced senior leadership team.
