Blues boss excited by opening clash in front of 'a couple of thousand'

LEEK Town have been handed a tough opening-day fixture in the Northern Premier League Premier Division but Josh Brehaut is already relishing the challenge.

The Blues boss will take his side to face FC United of Manchester first up on August 9 before home games against Rushall Olympic (August 12) and Morpeth Town (August 16).
"The question around the fixtures in general is always there but the reality is you've got to play everyone home and away," said Brehaut.
"When the fixtures come out everyone discusses whether it’s a good start.
"For us the first game will be played in front of a couple of thousand people.
"That’s good and something to look forward to. It’s exciting.
