SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) joined the rest of the country in observing the “National Fire Services Day” on 14th April. The day also marks the commencement of the Fire Services Week that will be observed from 14th to 20th April.
Elaborating on this year's theme for Fire Service Week 2025, the DIC said, “The theme ‘Unite to Ignite: A Fire Safe India’ powerfully emphasizes the importance of collective responsibility and action in ensuring fire safety.” Stating that it serves as a reminder that fire prevention is not solely the duty of firefighting personnel, Verma said, “It is a shared commitment across all levels of the organization and society.”
