WATSONS x PDS: MAKING SKINCARE LESS INTIMIDATING

Skincare can get quite overwhelming with all the actives, serums, and overcomplicated routines K-beauty junkies keep throwing at us. One minute it’s all about 10-step regimens and snail mucin; the next, it’s retinol sandwiches and slugging with petroleum jelly. It’s enough to make anyone’s head — and skin — spin.

WATSONS x PDS: MAKING SKINCARE LESS INTIMIDATING

Watsons Skin Solutions provided insightful talks on skincare

In an effort to make skincare less intimidating, Watsons, the country’s leading health and beauty retailer, partnered with the Philippine Dermatological Society (PDS) to lead a conversation on better skin health at the recent “Skin Solutions 2025” event held at SM Mall of Asia.

The five-day event brought together dermatologists, skincare enthusiasts, and top skincare brands under one roof. It featured insightful talks, fun activities, and rewarding shopping experiences. The best part? It offered something we all secretly wish for but rarely get: free skin consultations with licensed dermatologists.

“At Watsons, our mission has always been simple: to make health and beauty accessible to every Filipino,” said Frank Patricio, beauty business unit controller, Watsons Philippines. “This year, we partnered with the Philippine Dermatological Society (PDS). Through their guidance, we are ensuring that healthy, glowing skin is possible for everyone.”

PDS is the only dermatological specialty society recognized by the Philippine Medical Association and the Philippine College of Physicians.
