PPP Project Pipeline at P2.64T as of April

The government has added 14 projects to its public-private partnership pipeline, bringing the total to 187 PPP projects amounting to P2.64 trillion.
Data from the PPP Center showed that as of April 11, both the number of projects and total cost in the pipeline increased from the previous month's list of 176 projects worth P2.60 trillion.
The 14 additions to the pipeline cover three national projects and 11 local projects.
The PPP Center said the additional projects cover unsolicited proposals endorsed to implementing agencies, as well as projects submitted by implementing agencies.
Of the projects added to the PPP pipeline, the biggest is the unsolicited proposal of Iloilo Global City Corp. for the P18.27-billion Iloilo Global City project, which will involve the development of new growth centers in the city.
