Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid, all-electric Macan showcase performance on the road

Porsche Philippines took the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid and the new all-electric Macan on a thrilling road trip to showcase the SUVs' dynamic performance and highly digitalized cockpits while underlining the range of choices the brand provides customers -- from plug-in hybrid (PHEV) to all-electric vehicles, and combustion engines.

In a recent event, the Cayenne E-Hybrid led all-electric Macan 4 models on a trip from Porsche Center Greenhills and traversed stop-and-go traffic on city streets, open expanses of expressways, and winding country lanes to get to a destination that affords a majestic view of the Taal Volcano.

During the drive, the Cayenne E-Hybrid demonstrated its mix of performance, luxury and versatility that makes it the perfect vehicle for any application. Porsche's full-size PHEV SUV is equipped with a powerful electric motor complemented by a 25.9 kW battery, enabling it to travel up to 90 kilometers on electric power alone.

Paired to the new Cayenne E-Hybrid's electric motor is a 3.0-liter V6 gasoline engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission. Combined, the combustion engine and electric motor produce 470 hp and 650 Nm of torque. The output can launch the vehicle from rest to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.
