Palace: No info on Rody's alleged China asylum bid

The Marcos administration has no knowledge about former president Rodrigo Duterte's supposed attempt to seek asylum in China, according to Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro.
At a press briefing yesterday, Castro was asked to comment on a report that the former president applied for asylum but was rejected by Beijing.
"We have not received such information," she said.
Pressed about what information Malacañang did receive regarding Duterte, Castro said "that he was on his way home from Hong Kong."
