OCD Sympathizes With Taiwan Quake Victims

The Office of Civil Defense (OCD) yesterday expressed sympathies and offered prayers for the victims of a 6.4-magnitude earthquake that rocked Taiwan, leaving at least 27 people injured.
OCD Administrator Ariel Nepomuceno said the earthquake triggered landslides and caused massive destruction.
According to the United States Geological Survey, the epicenter was located 12 kilometers north of Yujing district in southern Taiwan.
