Marcos inspects newly completed Davao bridge

President Marcos yesterday inspected the newly completed Bucana Bridge, which is expected to ease traffic in Davao City in time for the holiday season.
The 1.3-kilometer project, also called the Davao River Bridge, can accommodate up to 14,000 vehicles daily and will be opened on Dec. 15.
“Travel that lasts two hours will be reduced to just 25 or 20 minutes. It will offer a huge relief, especially now that Christmas is approaching,” Marcos told journalists after the inspection.
