Higher toll rates at NLEX start today

Motorists traveling along the North Luzon Expressway will have to pay higher toll starting today following the implementation of the final tranche of the rate adjustment, according to NLEX Corp.

The tollway company said the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) authorized NLEX Corp. to increase toll rates by P6 for the open system and P0.26 per kilometer for the closed system.
The increase is the second and final tranche of the approved periodic toll rate adjustment originally due in 2023.
