No less than the President of the Republic of the Philippines, President Ferdinand "BongBong" Marcos Jr. awarded the Gawad Kalasag Seal to Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo "Along" Malapitan for being declared by the Office of Civil Defense - National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (OCD-NDRRMC) as the Best Highly-Urbanized City in the whole country for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) and Humanitarian Assistance programs.
