Senior BJP leader and former Health Minister Bali Bhagat on Sunday launched a sharp attack on the Congress over its Delhi rally, alleging that the protest was not about electoral reforms but an attempt to protect “ghuspaithiyas” (illegal infiltrators) such as Bangladeshis and Rohingyas and to mislead the public.
Issuing a statement, Bhagat said the Congress was holding the rally even as Union Home Minister Amit Shah comprehensively exposed the Opposition’s “fabricated allegations” during a detailed debate on electoral reforms in Parliament. “This clearly shows that Congress has no truth on its side and is deliberately trying to create confusion,” he said.
