DoI&C reconstitutes ICC to strengthen workplace safety for women

Jammu Tawi: In a significant move to enhance workplace safety and uphold gender dignity, the Directorate of Industries and Commerce (DoI&C) Government of Jammu and Kashmir, has reconstituted its Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.
The committee has been formed vide Order No. 31-DI&CJ of 2025, dated May 26, 2025, superseding all earlier notifications. This step underscores the government's unwavering commitment to a safe, inclusive, and respectful work environment for female employees.
