AFTER dismissing East Zone for 129 in the first innings, M Durga scored a half-century (64) to help South Zone get to 179 on day two of the Inter Zonal Women's Multi-day tournament in Pune.

Chasing 184, East were 30/2 at stumps. Starting the day at 108/5, East Zone crumbled to lose the remaining wickets for just 21 runs.
Minnu Mani and S Sajana ran through the lower-order, helping South Zone secure a meagre 4-run lead in the first innings. Minnu finished with five wickets for 47 runs in her 15.4 overs.
