Soren asked to appear in court in land scam case

THE MP-MLA court in Ranchi on Tuesday rejected Hemant Soren's plea seeking exemption from personal appearance in a case related to disobeying the ED summons in a money laundering case linked to land scam.

The court directed Soren to appear before it on December 4.
Earlier, a complaint was filed in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, but on June 3, it was transferred to the MP-MLA court.
