SC to hear plea for probe into Hathras deaths

LAWYER Vishal Tiwari, who filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the Supreme Court on July 3, is seeking a courtmonitored investigation and compensation for the victims of the tragic incident where 121 people lost their lives.
On Tuesday, he brought the matter before the Chief Justice D.Y. Chandrachud-led bench, requesting an early hearing.
Tiwari emphasized the urgency of the case, highlighting the loss of 121 lives and calling for an independent investigation.
