TWO months after a gunman's bullet nicked his right ear, former US President Donald Trump was the target of yet another apparent assassination attempt on Sunday, the Federal Bureau of Investigation said.

Authorities said a man armed with AK47 was hiding in shrubbery about 400 yards to 500 yards away from Trump as the former president played golf at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach. One of the Secret Service agents noticed the barrel of a rifle pointing out of shrubbery and the force opened fire in the direction of the lurking gunman.
