A day after the roof of a bavdi (step-well) at Beleshwar Mahadev Jhoolelal Temple collapsed in Madhya Pradesh's Indore, the authorities raised the toll to at least 36 and the number of the injured to 17.
The deceased included 20 women aged between 24 and 84 years, 13 men aged between 26 years and 65 years, and three children, including two boys aged two years and eight years and a 13-year-old girl.
