THE alumni association of the College of Engineering, Guindy (CEG), celebrated its centenary year on Sunday. Higher Education Minister Govi Chezhiaan and Higher Education Secretary P Shankar were the chief guests of the occasion.

Marking the centenary, Minister Govi Chezhiaan inaugurated a Hall of Fame, mini-theatre, guest rooms, an open stage, and restored the iconic clock on the college's dome.
