A POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) court in Visakhapatnam sentenced a man to 25 years in prison and imposed a fine of ₹1.25 lakh on him for repeatedly raping a minor girl.
The accused, identified as Tambari Trinath, a native of Sai Nagar Colony in Sabbavaram mandal at Anakapalle District, is the girl's stepfather. He had married the girl's mother after her father had died.
