Ensure 100% door-to-door garbage collection daily, GVMC officials told

GREATER Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) Additional Commissioner DV Ramana Murthy has directed public health officials to ensure 100% door-to-door garbage collection daily, especially during the rainy season.
Acting on Commissioner Ketan Garg's instructions, Murthy chaired a teleconference meeting at the GVMC Office with Chief Medical Officer Dr ENV Naresh Kumar, officials, and sanitary staff.
He questioned the poor garbage collection in certain wards and emphasized strict implementation. Officials were also instructed to prevent water stagnation to curb seasonal diseases and to perform duties diligently.
