CHIEF Minister M K Stalin on Saturday said federalism, one of the basic structures of the Constitution, has been affected in recent times, particularly in terms of fund allocation and education. He stressed the need for states to achieve self-reliance to safeguard their rights.
Speaking at the celebration of the 75th year of the Indian Constitution and the 160th anniversary of the Madras Bar Association, Stalin stressed on the continuous efforts of the judiciary in upholding constitutional law and protecting the rights of state powers.
