PARENTS from Aadhanur village near Ulundurpet staged a protest along with their children at the Kallakurichi Collectorate on Monday afternoon, demanding the appointment of a permanent headmaster and teachers at the Adi Dravidar Welfare Primary School in their village.
The school currently has around 40 students and is being run by temporary teachers under the supervision of a headmaster from another school. As a public grievance meeting was underway at the Collectorate, a group of parents and children sat down near the hall and began raising slogans.
