As Deadline Nears, EC Says Enumeration Forms Collected From 98% Voters

The Election Commission of India on Wednesday said the SIR exercise has covered 98.01 percent of the total registered electorate of 7,89,69,844 and their enumeration forms have been received and digitized.
A senior poll panel official said, "Genuine electors in Bihar are asking BLOs if the critics of SIR want to enable bogus voting through the presence in the voter lists of voters who have died or shifted out, have duplicate votes, and are illegal migrants or non-existent."
