DIXON Technologies (India), an electronics contract manufacturing services provider, has announced the formation of a strategic joint venture with Chinese HKC Overseas Limited to set up display technology and large-scale electronics assembly.
The joint venture, which will be under Dixon Display Technologies Private Limited (DDTPL), will focus on the development, manufacturing, and distribution of liquid crystal modules and thin-film transistor liquid crystal display modules. The company, in an exchange filing, said that the venture will assemble smartphones, televisions, monitors, and automotive displays, with a plan to introduce HKC-branded products into the Indian market.
