Yogi questions Mamata's silence in Bengal clashes

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday accused his West Bengal counterpart Mamata Banerjee of encouraging communal unrest in her state under the "guise of secularism", questioning her silence in the ongoing tensions over the Waqf amendment.
"She has given rioters a free licence to kill people in the name of secularism," he alleged in Hardoi while inaugurating and laying the foundation for 729 development projects worth ₹650 crore.
