THE Vellore district administration has begun preparations for three major temple festivals in the district.
THE Vellore district administration has begun preparations for three major temple festivals in the district. A coordination meeting was held on April 28 under the leadership of Collector V R Subbulaxmi to ensure smooth conduct of the events.
The festivals include the Gengaiyamman Temple ‘Sirasu’ Festival—a major festival—Sri Porkodiyamman Temple Pushparatha Lake Festival in Vallandaraman, and Sri Balasarthuleeswarar Temple Chariot Festival in Nellurpet.
