CLASS 12 public examinations commenced on Monday across the districts of Vellore, Tirupattur, Ranipet, and Tiruvannamalai, with Collectors inspecting the examination centers.

The examinations, which are being held across Tamil Nadu, will continue until the 25th of this month. In Vellore district, a total of 15,985 students—7,218 male and 8,357 female—are appearing for the exams. Ten prisoners, including one female inmate, are writing the public examination at Vellore Central Prison, said official sources.
