The picturesque coastal town of Varkala in Kerala is set to host the second edition of the Varkala International Surfing Festival on April 12 at Edava Beach.
Building upon the success of its inaugural event in 2024, which attracted around 65 participants and showcased Varkala's potential as a premier surfing destination, this year's festival promises to be an exhilarating affair for surfing enthusiasts and spectators.
The festival features competitions across multiple categories, including the Under-16 Boys, Men's Open, and Women's Open. Each category offers attractive prize money, with the Men's and Women's Open winners receiving ₹20,000 and the Under-16 champion awarded ₹15,000.
