Resolution condemning Israel attacks in coming Assembly session, says CM

A resolution will be adopted in the upcoming Assembly session on October 14 condemning Israel’s attacks on Gaza, emphasising the need for a ceasefire and demanding the union government to take measures towards this, DMK president and Chief Minister MK Stalin said on Wednesday.
Speaking at an all-party agitation organised by CPM, Stalin strongly condemned Israel’s attacks on Gaza and said the resolution would reflect the sentiments of the people of Tamil Nadu. He also expressed hope that all parties would support the resolution cutting across political differences.
He thanked CPM for organising the agitation by bringing together various parties against the attack on Gaza, which “apparently violates the international laws and the principles of the United Nations.”
