Petitions to CM cell get only wrong info: Residents

SEVERAL residents complain that government officials, particularly those in Rural Development (RD) department, do not provide the right information to their petitions submitted through the Chief Minister's Special Cell (Mudhalvarin Mugavari).
The state government launched the Chief Minister's Special Cell as a dedicated platform for people to raise grievances and demands.
However, several residents in Perambalur claim their petitions are given inaccurate or irrelevant responses. Speaking to TNIE, S Ragavan, a resident of Perali, said he submitted a petition on November 5, 2024, to the CM's cell, seeking renovation of a damaged lake.
