The Supreme Court on Wednesday slammed Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for stating that no by-elections would be held if BRS MLAs switch to the Congress.
A two-judge bench led by justices B R Gavai and Augustine George Masih criticised Reddy for "making mockery of the 10th Schedule" — which deals with provisions on disqualification due to defection — with his statement on the floor of the state assembly.
