What are the unique strengths or focus areas that set IIM Lucknow apart from other IIMs?
IIM Lucknow offers diversified programmes, including blended MBA options, executive PhD pathways and AI-focused executive programmes, and it maintains strong engagement with government, industry and policy makers. It also has several Centres of Excellence dedicated to areas such as well-being and happiness, blockchain technology, agribusiness management, business sustainability and marketing in emerging economies, along with an active Enterprise Incubation Centre that supports startups and innovation.
What is the institute doing to strengthen industry partnerships and improve student employability?
The institute regularly hosts Leadership Talk Series, bringing distinguished industry leaders to campus to share insights on emerging trends, challenges, and real-world business scenarios. This exposure helps students bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry expectations. IIM Lucknow also leverages its strong alumni network through mentorship sessions, career guidance interactions, industry panels, and networking events. To build global competencies, the institute offers international student exchange programs with partner universities, allowing students to experience cross-cultural business environments. Industrial visits remain an integral part of experiential learning, enabling students to observe operational dynamics and interact with practitioners.
